• Module 2 – Plato and the dichotomy between the sensible world and the world of ideas
The theory of ideas, the myth of the cave, knowledge as reminiscence.

• Module 3 – Metaphysics and cosmology in Aristotle's thought
Substance, act and power, the first unmoved mover, science as knowledge of causes.

• Module 4 – Cosmology, freedom and creationism in medieval scholasticism
Thomas Aquinas and the synthesis between faith and reason.

• Module 5 – Kant: epistemology and moral freedom
The Copernican revolution of thought: phenomenon and noumenon, categorical imperative and autonomy of reason.

• Module 6 – A Radical Attempt to Destroy Metaphysics: Nietzsche and the Will to Power
